50 Random facts about me:

1. 1. I’m allergic to latex.
   2. I detest pickles.
   3. But I think ham is the worst thing ever.
   4. I can touch the tip of my tongue to the tip of my nose.
   5. I’m double jointed in my thumbs, shoulders, and hips.
   6. I lived in Hawaii for 4 years
   7. I have a fleur de lis tattoo that very few people have ever seen
   8. I recently got a second tattoo of a Viking rune Inguz.It is a rune of transitions and reflects the need for us to leave the past and matters of previous situations behind us. It implies mental and emotional strength – the strength needed to achieve completion of a task, phase, or situation – and to move into a new cycle. I think that’s perfect for me, in so many ways.
   9. I try to drink a glass of red wine or eat a piece of dark chocolate every day. Antioxidants!
   10.   At 5’8″, I’m the shortest of my 3 siblings.
   11. I’m Danish and no one could ever correctly pronounce or spell my last name.

   13. I shave my legs every single day.

   15. I can take up an entire king size bed (years of practice)
   16. I married my high school sweetheart
   17. I divorced him after nearly 10 years of marriage.
   18. My ex-husband passed out at the beginning of my C-section when my son was born.  My baby and I almost died during the surgery.
   19. At one point I weighed 105 pounds and wore a size 00. Yes, that’s a real thing.I taught myself photography in my late 30s.
   20. I can fluently write in cursive in mirror image.
   21. I’ve been a member of MENSA.
   22. I’m the least sarcastic of my siblings, but that isn’t saying much.
   23. I love to read.
   24. I learned to read when I was 4 years old.
   25. My mother would only take me to the library once a week, so I started reading the dictionary, the encyclopedia, and the phone book.

   29. I have Raynaud’s disease, so my hands and feet are usually cold.
   30. The farthest south I’ve ever been is Venezuela.
   31. My feet grew from a 6 1/2 to a 7 1/2 when I was pregnant, and they never shrunk back.

   33. I love to snorkel.
   34. I drive fast, but I’ve never gotten a ticket.
   35. I know how to drive a manual transmission, unlike most women.
   36. I firmly believe in good sheets and good towels. Anything that touches your skin that much should be of excellent quality.
   37. I can’t stand to sleep wearing pajamas.
   38. I learned how to swear from Marines. Needless to say, I’ve very good at it when I want to be.
   39. I have a very long fuse and I’m very patient, but when I blow it’s a huge explosion.I’m the only person in my family with green eyes.
   40. I was embarrassed of my eye color for years and even wore colored contacts to cover them up.
   41. I’m legally blind without my contacts or glasses.
   42. I taught Sunday school to first graders when I was in high school.  This makes people who know me laugh.
   43. I’ve moved more than 20 times in the last 25 years.
   44. My favorite color is red.
   45. However, most of my clothes are black.
   46. I wear a size 5 ring.
   47. I have an older brother who is 7 years older than me, an older sister who is 6 years older, and a younger sister who is 9 years younger than me.
