The tiny sliver of the crescent moon last week looked so cold that I could almost picture it having a sharp edge. It was so bitterly cold that just about everything had a sharp edge, including me. 😉
The Scandinavian’s have a saying that goes something like “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing” but I think that’s utter nonsense. There’s most certainly bad weather– anything less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. So….I bundle up. I wear layers, as much as that kills me. By the end of the day, I am so very ready to peel it all off. Clothing is over-rated. 🙂 However, it’s necessary, especially when it’s cold out.
It was my big brother’s birthday yesterday and a family member shared this photo of us.
The funny thing is, it was his birthday, but I’m the one with her fingers in the cake. Typical! I was a mischievous little kid, but in a (mostly) sweet way. The impish grin on my face says it all.
